Obituary

SANDRA LEA (SHINEGO) VALLEJO, age 53, of North Miami Beach, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020. SANDRA was born July 7, 1967 in Hollywood, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, George Vallejo, and their two children: Alex and Antonio.

Dear Friends,

On November 21st, Sandy, my wife of 27 years, the proud mother and fierce protector of our two boys, my steadfast “ride-or-die”, the bedrock on which our Family stood, and the truest of friend to so many, passed away. She took her last breaths peacefully at home and cradled in my arms, as we both wished.

She was the kindest, most loyal, thoughtful, generous, and courageous person I have ever known. Sandy was the Sun around which our family and friends orbited and the glue which bound us all together. The world was a better place with her in it.

Absolutely beautiful on the outside, she was infinitely more so on the inside. She was a genuinely kind and caring soul who carved herself into the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. And it is this legacy...this priceless gift... which will live on in our boys Alex and Antonio, along with the countless others whom she mentored and helped to raise.

True to her nature, she refused to be deterred by stage 4 cancer with a prognosis of mere months to live. Instead, she fought it valiantly and blessed us with three more years of birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and cherished memories together. I will be forever grateful for every minute with her.

Sandy's wish was for everyone reading this to not send flowers...but instead, please donate that amount to the Mystic Force Foundation, where those dollars will do more to help kids fighting this evil disease and hopefully find a cure.

With love and gratitude for all of you who have touched Sandy's life,

George, Alex & Antonio

We will love you forever
